Diego Lerma is a graduate student in video journalism at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The North Carolina native is an East Carolina University graduate with a degree in journalism and media studies.
His previous journalism experience includes working as an intern news producer at WITN and a senior audio/visual reporter for The Daily Tar Heel. He also worked in print as a reporter, editor, and editor-in-chief of The East Carolinian.
Diego is currently focusing on long- and short-form filmmaking.
