Diego Lerma is a North Carolina native who has a bachelor’s degree from East Carolina University in journalism and media studies. Along with that, he earned his master’s degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
His previous journalism experience includes working as an intern news producer at WITN and a senior audio/visual reporter for The Daily Tar Heel. He also worked in print as a reporter, editor, and editor-in-chief of The East Carolinian.
Diego is a freelancer who is focusing on long- and short-form filmmaking.
